Software Installation
Get started quickly and effortlessly The first step in working with our system is proper installation. We have prepared a series of short, step-by-step videos that guide you through the entire process – from downloading the installer, through configuration, to launching the program. This ensures you can start using our software quickly and without any issues.
1. Installing Komandor Software on the designer’s computer
In this video, we’ll show you step by step how to install the Komandor Software application on a designer’s computer. You’ll learn how to activate your account, run the installer, and choose the appropriate installation mode – simple or advanced. We’ll also demonstrate how to connect the application to your Backend account. Finally, we’ll explain how to update data and libraries so that the application is fully ready to work. This way, your design environment will run smoothly and without issues.
2. Installing Komandor Software on a production server (Services performed by Komandor Software)
In this video, we’ll show you step by step how to install the Komandor Software application on a production server. You’ll learn how to log in to the main company account, download the application, and run the installer. You’ll see how to choose the appropriate installation mode – simple or advanced – and how to properly configure the database and SQL Server instance. We’ll also show you how to set and secure the instance password, then automatically create the database and launch the application once the installation is complete. Finally, you’ll learn how to download the necessary libraries and prepare the system for operation, ensuring everything runs smoothly and without complications..
3. Installation – production station
In this video, we’ll show you step by step how to install and configure a production workstation in the Komandor Software application. You’ll learn how to create an account for a new employee or workstation, set up a login and password, and assign the appropriate permissions based on a predefined template. We’ll also show you how to download and run the installer on the selected workstation, connect the application to an existing database, and configure access to the server. Finally, you’ll see how to enter default data for the production workstation and download the assigned libraries, so the application is ready to use immediately after installation.
4. SQL Server Express configuration
In this video, you’ll learn how to configure SQL Server Express to enable a network connection to the production database. If you’re using the full version of SQL Server, the settings shown are default and usually don’t require any additional steps.
